Kenneth McIntosh Daly is a celebrated painter who specializes in equestrian art. During the span of Mr. Daly's prestigious thirty-year career, he has earned celebrity for his ability to capture the likeness and characteristics of his subjects, both human and animal. His work captures the mood and private moments of the people and horses he paints transcending the viewer into the emotional state of the situation. The work also takes on an atmospheric quality allowing the viewer to feel the heat from the brightness of the sun or the sublime moment of a storm coming.
Mr. Daly has amassed a large and devoted group of patrons and his art has been showcased at Hollywood Park, CA., The Iroquois Steeplechase in Nashville, TN., and the International Polo Club in W. Palm Beach, FL as well as abroad. His craftsmanship can also be found in the private collection of Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr. Daly uses a variety of mediums, including oil paints, acrylics, watercolor and ink. He is proficient in both portraiture and scenic work.
After attending Bard College in upstate New York, Mr. Daly honed his craft in NYC before moving to CA, where he has lived and worked since.
