Lori Eubanks

Lori Eubanks who was inspired by the impressionists, but dedicated to her unique approach to form, combines serene compositions with simply stated themes. Her sensitively executed oils depict a variety of subjects, many with florals as a recurring favorite backdrop. Her paintings reflect the beauty that can be found in nature and uses color to reflect light and atmosphere. ýI use many layers of paint in my work to allow me to pull the under color to the surface and create depth and movement to highlight form and the way light defines a subject.ý Her eye for color, movement, and mood are exquisite, and her moody Impressionist flowers are only beginning to receive the attention they merit. The artist travels extensively, throughout the United Stated and Europe seeking new inspiration. She has painted in both Monet's Gardens and the French countryside. Her work has been exhibited in a show of American Artists in Giverny, France at Galerie Les Agapanthes along with countless shows throughout the United States. Much of Eubank's work today is currently displayed in the homes and offices of many prominent and well-respected art collectors and families.
