Shilo Ratner holds an MFA in Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, as well as a B.A. in Design from Curry College in Massachusetts. She has been recognized for several honors from juried exhibitions and online galleries, and has shown her work in notable museum exhibitions including at the Museum of Contemporary Art in California and the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts. From 2007 to 2009, she taught Painting and Drawing at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, and the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, California. We will take a sneak peek at Shilo's studio, and discuss her creative process, how she achieves her seemingly perfect geometric lines, and what inspires her as an artist on a daily basis.
