About Alison Jerry
Based in Dallas, TX, Alison Jerry is an abstract artist whose work draws on her upbringing in Wisconsin and Upstate New York, as well as her travels worldwide. After studying design at Syracuse University, she began working for Hallmark Cards and later as a freelance designer in New York City. She later returned to fine art where she felt she was able to exercise more of her own creative freedom.
Her scenes are inspired by nature, combining dramatic movement and light, cloudy skies, lush greenery, sunsets, and sunrises, and the odd waterfall every now and then. She creates added dimension by exploring positive and negative space, varying textures, and working through layers of color. She organizes natural chaos in her own way while guiding the viewer to a hopeful and clear vision.
Alison's most notable corporate collectors include the Hilton and Marriott Hotels, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen, and her work has even appeared in the TV series, The Good Fight. She enjoys collaborating with interior designers to give them best imagery that suits their rooms.
