While brass is the main theme in Clare Kennedy Blasius of CKB Interior Design's vignette in our former New Canaan gallery, velvet, faux fur, glass, and wood are also highlighted. This vignette is designed around a console table with a base of forged brass twigs. The swivel chairs provide a place to sit comfortably with a nod to the mid-century modern style. This is a space where one can have a glass of wine with a friend, read a good book or page through a beautiful magazine. The art, featuring depictions of nature and the outdoors, is a counterpoint to the manufactured components of the room.
