Artwork on approval
Sorelle Gallery Fine Art’s inventory (with exceptions) may be taken on approval for a maximum of 3 days. An ‘Artwork(s) On Approval’ form must be filled out and signed by the client or designer before any artwork(s) are delivered, picked up, or shipped. A credit card must be on file and arrangements for the artwork(s) to be returned must be determined prior to the release of the artwork(s). Artwork(s) that have exceeded the ‘return by’ date will be subject to charges on the credit card provided. Please alert the gallery as soon as a decision has been made. Sorelle Gallery Fine Art is not responsible if a painting is sold online while on approval.
Placing a Painting ‘On Hold’
All of Sorelle Gallery’s artwork is offered on many online platforms and can sell with a click of a button. Therefore we will only put an artwork on hold if a non-refundable 5% deposit is paid. The 5% deposit is calculated on the artworks retail price and if the artwork is purchased the deposit will be applied to the sale.
Complimentary Art Consultation/Delivery
Sorelle Gallery Fine Art offers complementary art consultation/delivery in Fairfield and Westchester Counties for up to three visits. After 3 visits delivery charges will be at a rate of $75 per hour. Beyond Fairfield and Westchester Counties, delivery starts at $125 per hour.
Shipping
Sorelle Gallery Fine Art offers FREE SHIPPING* on artwork to the contiguous 48 states.
*Free Shipping is not applicable on sculptures (wall or free-standing) or other 3D artworks. Expect 1 - 6 weeks delivery, depending on artwork size, weight, and destination. Cannot be combined with other offers. Available for addresses inside the contiguous 48 states only.
Sorelle Gallery Fine Art has excellent relationships with local reputable shipping companies to professionally pack and ship artwork. The gallery ships within the United States and internationally on a weekly basis. All shipping quotes are considered by finding the most competitive rate and professional packaging on a per-case basis. Same-day courier service to NYC and most of the tri-state area is available. The gallery may use such carriers as: UPS, USPS, FedEx, private courier, art transportation service, or DHL. FYI: Artwork shipped via freight is often large and heavy. The shipping company will call ahead to schedule delivery, please arrange to have extra assistance. Additional customs duties and taxes may apply to international purchases.
Complimentary Digital Superimposing
Sorelle Gallery Fine Art offers digital superimposing of artwork in the client’s space. Clients will receive up to 3 artwork images per room/photo. Our free Sorelle Gallery digital app can also be downloaded from the app store. By using the app, the gallery’s online inventory can be digitally imposed on any walls you like, at no cost.
Complimentary Hanging and Installation
The gallery will install artwork and sculpture purchased through Sorelle free of charge, in Fairfield and Westchester counties. However, this is a discretionary service and all installations are subject to fees. For special installations, the gallery may advise or arrange for a professional to be paid for by the client. For artwork and sculpture not purchased through Sorelle: Standard hanging and installation fees are $75.00 per hour with a minimum of 1 hour. Sorelle Gallery Fine Art is not responsible for any artwork sold after installation. Any repairs or re-installs are subject to fees quoted on a per-case basis.
Purchasing from Us
Sorelle Gallery’s objective is to provide expert and informative art advisory through written description and photography; alongside complementary services including: art consultation, digital imposing, taking ‘art on approval’ for up to 3 days, and delivery & installation. We do not accept returns.*
*Online sales that qualify for free shipping can be returned, with the exception of PHOTOGRAPHY, provided the client notifies the gallery within 3 days of arrival. Work must be packed, insured, and shipped back to the gallery. The client is responsible for return shipping costs. The gallery catalogues images before shipment; returned artwork should arrive in identical condition.
