About Tim Eaton
Tim has been painting landscapes and scenery as well as abstract art ever since he was able to hold a brush. “Painting to me is like breathing” he states, “It’s what defines me as a creative individual and I love it!” He won his first competition at just seven years old, ultimately graduating from the University of Vermont following a two-year stint at the National School of Decorative Arts in Nice, France.
Growing up in New England served as an inspiration for his poetic rendering of forests, streams, mountains, and skies. Following years of international travels, watercolor pad in hand, he also received a great art history education. Mr. Eaton is moved by contemporary artistic expression and, as evidenced here on this site, continues to develop a collection of abstract art inspired by the abstract expressionist movement of the mid nineteen hundreds.
