Sorelle artist Russell Miyaki was recently featured on Made in Connecticut, a weekly installment highlighting creators of all kinds in Connecticut.
This week, Sorelle artist Russell Miyaki was showcased, explaining the ins and outs of his artistic practice and the moment that jumpstarted his current abstract and colorful style of capturing portraits of dogs of all breeds and sizes. Russell's work was featured in our February exhibition, A Good Day. You can learn about the exhibition here, which was cohosted by Samantha Yanks, Founder of The Connecticut Edit and Editor-in-Chief of Westport, Weston & Wilton Magazine, and Sadie Yanks (Staples ’25), Co-Founder of The Connecticut Edit, and benefited local pet rescue organizations Dog Star Rescue and WASA (Westport Animal Shelter Advocates).
