Description
“Savoring Indigo” is an evocative sculpture made from century-old landfill glass by Resurrect Studio, the collaborative practice of Nancy Wu and Jean Davis. Measuring 11 x 11 x 7 inches, the work features historic New York City landfill glass fragments shaped by time, tide, and transformation.
Rich cobalt and indigo shards bloom outward from a clear vintage glass vessel, creating a form that feels both floral and aquatic. Layers of translucent blue, pale aqua, and clear patterned glass catch the light, giving the piece movement, depth, and quiet intensity.
Described by the artists as “3D watercolors,” Savoring Indigo shifts as light passes through it, revealing new tones, textures, and shadows from every angle.
